Connecting Judge.me

Overview

Judge.me is the first review platform supported by Keystone Loyalty. Once connected, reviews collected by Judge.me can earn your customers loyalty points or discounts through the Review Earning Rule.

Works on every Judge.me plan. The connection uses Judge.me webhooks that are available on the Forever Free plan — the Awesome plan is not required.

What You Need

Requirement	Details
Keystone plan with Integrations	Review platforms are part of the Integrations feature — an upgrade prompt is shown if your plan does not include it
Judge.me installed on your shop	Any Judge.me plan, including Forever Free
Judge.me Private API Key	Found in Judge.me under Settings → Integrations → Judge.me API

Connecting

1. In Judge.me, go to Settings → Integrations → Judge.me API and copy your Private API Token
2. In the Keystone Loyalty Rewards App, go to Settings → Integrations
3. Select Judge.me and paste the key
4. Click Connect

Keystone validates the key with Judge.me before saving it — if the key is wrong, you will get an error and nothing is stored. Once validated, the key is stored encrypted, and Keystone automatically registers the review webhooks (review/created and review/updated) in your Judge.me account. No manual webhook setup is needed.

After connecting, head to the Review Earning Rule to enable and configure what reviews earn.

How Reviews Are Matched to Customers

Keystone matches each review to a loyalty customer by the reviewer's email address. Reviews whose email does not match any customer in your shop are ignored.

Judge.me also marks reviewers as verified buyers automatically when their email matches an order — this is what the rule's Only reward verified buyers setting checks. Merchants cannot set the verified status manually, which keeps the check trustworthy.

Moderation and Award Timing

Whether a review is published immediately or held for moderation is controlled in Judge.me's own settings, not in Keystone. The Review Earning Rule's award timing setting works with either flow:

• When submitted — the award is granted as soon as the review arrives, regardless of moderation
• Once published — the award waits until the review becomes published in Judge.me

Disconnecting

To disconnect, go to Settings → Integrations, select Judge.me, and click Disconnect. Keystone removes the webhooks it registered in your Judge.me account, so no further review data is sent. Awards already granted are kept.

Troubleshooting

Symptom	Likely Cause
"Invalid API key" on connect	The public token was pasted instead of the private one, or the key has a typo
Reviews are not earning points	The Review Earning Rule is disabled, the reviewer's email does not match a loyalty customer, or Only reward verified buyers is on and the reviewer has no matching order
Award not granted immediately	Award timing is set to Once published and the review is still pending moderation in Judge.me
No award after many reviews	The customer has reached the Maximum awards per customer cap
