Review Platforms Overview

What It Does

Connecting a review platform lets Keystone Loyalty reward your customers for the product reviews they leave. Once connected, every review flows into Keystone automatically, and the Review Earning Rule decides whether it earns the customer loyalty points or a discount.

You configure everything on the Keystone side — how many reviews earn an award, whether only verified buyers qualify, and when the award is credited. The review platform keeps doing what it already does: collecting and moderating reviews.

Before You Start

1. Your plan must include Integrations Review platforms use the same plan feature as the email marketing integrations. If your plan does not include it, you will see an upgrade prompt when you visit Settings → Integrations.

2. You need an account with a supported review platform You will connect it with the platform's private API key. Details on where to find it are in each platform's setup page.

More platforms — including Yotpo and Loox — are planned. The Review Earning Rule itself is platform-agnostic, so switching or adding a platform later will not require reconfiguring the rule.

How the Connection Works

  1. You paste your platform's Private API key into Keystone's integration settings
  2. Keystone validates the key against the platform's API before anything is stored — an invalid key is rejected immediately
  3. The key is stored encrypted, per shop
  4. Review notifications are set up automatically — Keystone registers the platform's review webhooks for your shop, so new and updated reviews reach Keystone without any manual configuration

On disconnect, Keystone removes the webhooks it registered, so the platform stops sending review data for your shop.
